The Community Integration Activity- watch movie together (Little Big Master) organized by Hong Kong Community Network on 3rd May 2015 in Golden Harvet Cinema, Maritime Square, and co-organized by LINK Centre(Ethnic Minorities Support Centre), Community Network, also has different Organizations that gave support to this activity, such as CNEC Ta Tung School, PLK Lam Man English Primary, HKCCCC Kwai Chung Chuen Yuen Church, The Urban Peacemaker Evangelistic Fellowship Ltd., Our Family Services Association, Shiny LifE, Yuen Kong Kindergarten, Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment (Holdings) Limited, YMCA of Hong Kong. The mission of this activity is to spread warm to vulnerable groups, let them enjoy the community equipment, and help Ethnic Minorities’ integrate into the community with local people.
Hong Kong Community Network gave free tickets to the participants which included Ethnic Minorities’ families, low-income families and sick kid’s family. Free tickets were sponsored by Ms. Lau Yuk Tsui, Ms. Anna Ng Yuen-Yee, Mr. Richard Yiu-Hon Ng, Mr. Philip Patrick Keung Ho-men and Henderson Land Development Company Limited. Two of the patrons Ms. Lau Yuk Tsui, Ms. Anna Ng Yuen-Yee, and the movie’s director Mr. Adrian Kwan Shun-Fai , and the movie’s scriptwriter Ms. Hannah Chang Pui King came to the cinema to support the charity activity.
After the movie finished, all participants came to LINK Centre to enjoy the refreshments and dessert which included local Chinese food and Pakistani exotic flavours together. At that day, the prototype of the movie- Principal Ms. Lui Lai Hong of Yuen Kong Kindergarten came to LINK Centre to be an honoured guest to share some experiences and inspiring true stories with the participants. She said knowledge changes fate and study makes the future bright.
