Summer Bridging Programme for Non-Chinese Speaking Students
The Education Bereau is going to hold a summer programme for EM students who are Primary 1 entrants, or progressing to Primary 2-4. The aims to facilitate EM Primary 1 entrants’ adaptation to classroom setting with the use of Chinese and help EM students progressing to Primary 2-4 consolidate the Chinese learning.
To step up the support for EM students, the Programme has been expanded to allow parents of participating EM students to join for more effective learning of Chinese with parent support and through home-school collaboration.
The Programme is free of charge, and should be conducted within the period from 14 July to 31 August 2016, lasting no less than 60 hours of class. If you wish to join, please contact the Placement and Support Section of the Education Bereau at 2892 6188 or 2892 6163.
