To step up combat actions against deception and increase public awareness of various kinds of scams, the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) was set up in fighting and preventing the crime.

Through the “Anti-Scam Helpline 18222” hotline, the Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) provides anti-deception consultation services around the clock. The general public can dial 18222 to contact the ADCC officers for assistance in response to suspicious deception cases. The hotline also provides the latest modus operandi of deception and scam alerts, in order to respond to the topical scams in an effective manner.
