Kwai Tsing District Council visit to LINK Centre
On 28th November 2014, Kwai Tsing District Council visited LINK Centre, which was attended by representatives Mr. FONG Ping(Chairman of Kwai Tsing District Council), Mr. Ho Sui-ping(Elected member), Mr. LEE Chi-keung(Appointed member) and other staffs who are working in Kwai Tsing District Home Affairs Department . We appreciate Kwai Tsing District Council’s valuable suggestions.
On that day, we shared the aims of serving ethnic minorities and reviewed all the activities conducted until now. Meanwhile, we introduced the courses and upcoming programs to visitors. LINK Centre’s EM staff made Pakistani milk tea for the visitors, and LINK Centre’s members prepared hand-made cookies as a gesture of goodwill.
It is particularly worth mentioning that three Pakistan youth members talked about some barriers regarding communicating in Chinese and their prospective careers after completion of their studies. This is a good way to make Kwai Tsing District Council’s visitors know how to pay more attention to Kwai Tsing district’s EMs.
