Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise
New Smart Identity Cards will be introduced on 26 November 2018. The Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise will commence on 27 December 2018.
新智能身份證將於2018年11月26日推出，而全港市民換領身份證計劃則於2018年12月27日開始。
Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise
The Territory-wide Identity Card Replacement Exercise will commence on 27 December 2018. All smart Hong Kong identity card holders will be invited by phases, i.e. the call up programme, to have their existing smart HKICs replaced at the dedicated smart identity card replacement centres.
*Subject to normal negative vetting procedure of the Legislative Council.
